Each session lasts 45 minutes – we’ve found the magic number for a person to learn effectively without losing interest or zoning out. Some days, it may extend up to an hour based on the agenda and the tutor’s choice.
Yes. As the classes are online and live, it is imperative that you have an instrument before you start learning music with us.Â
Yes. If you want to skip the guesswork, we will share a few options based on your budget, experience level and requirements – and you can buy them at any music store in your city. We highly recommend that you buy musical instruments from a local, brick-and-mortar, physical store. Buying instruments online are rather risky and you may end up with a faulty piece. Make sure that you test and verify your instrument at the store before purchase.

We teach everyone aged 6 years and above. If your child is younger but is mature enough to sit for a class duration of up to 45 minutes, then we are more than happy to teach them too.
Age is just a number. There is no age limit for learning something new and it is the same with learning music. Some of our students are 70 years young (and have even completed their grade exams). Others fall between 6 and 69 years of age. All that matters is your interest and passion to learn music.
Ideally, it helps to practice for about 30 minutes to an hour daily. We teach our students to split up their practice routine into smaller segments spread throughout the day. You will feel it’s more effective when you take breaks in between and come back to your practice. For example, you can have three or four 15-minute sessions in a day, like one each in the morning, afternoon (if possible), and evening or night.
Mastering music is subjective to each person’s requirements and needs. Some learn for hobby and some learn it professionally to either become a Live Musician / Session Musician / Composer etc. Also music is so vast that even several lifetimes would not suffice to gain all the knowledge. If you’re doing grade examinations, usually 6 to 8 months is the average time it takes to finish one grade. Basics may take 3 to 6 months on an average.
There may be times when you feel like you or your child just aren’t hitting it off with the tutor. While we initially assign the tutor based on our best judgement of the students’ needs, you are welcome to ask us for a change of tutor – no questions asked. And we will have it taken care of.
Yes, we are affiliated with Trinity College London, ABRSM, Rock School, and Trinity Rock & Pop syllabuses.
We will send you monthly reports on your child’s progress. We encourage parents to contact us or the tutors anytime to enquire about the same.
Some students who are very young may perform better with their parent near them, although some older kids will need their space. In many cases the parents tend to interfere in the lessons which may put the student and the tutor in a tough spot. So unless your kid is hyperactive or you are able to watch silently without any interference, we would suggest you not being present in the room.
